Very many thanks to all the parents, siblings, families and friends, who have allowed us to share their experiences on this site.

 SANDS support services are open to anyone affected by the death of a baby, however long ago, whether you are a parent, family member or health professional.

Hello our baby Ellie with lovely brown hair

A very special little girl who now has gone away

Our hearts are truly broken since you left on Mothers Day

And if we could have one wish, it would be for you to stay!

Because you are so special God let you jump the queue

He plucked you from this world of ours so he could protect you

But now you're up in heaven where you will feel no pain

We'll carry on with our own lives until we meet again

You'll meet with friends and family and walk amongst the clouds

They'll take you by your little hands and swing you round and round

So as we part our darling and you go on your way

We'll keep a place in all our hearts

Today and every day

So now we honour you with love

A gift that'd sent from God above
