Alexander
I am supposed to have an older brother,
But 12 years ago,
Before I was even born,
Something dreadful happened,
The baby suffered.
Mum and Dad named him Alexander,
They never saw him alive,
From that day and forward it was the saddest thing that ever happened to us.
18 months later I was born and I didn't know anything about it until mum told me.
I found it very sad and I wanted to comfort her,
But I didn't know how.
I now have a younger brother Christopher and a younger sister Josephine that I love.
But I always wonder how it would be to have an older brother.
I enjoy going to the memorial garden where I will always remember him even though I never saw or knew him.
