SANDS Garden Sub-Committee raises money to fund the upkeep and development of SANDS National Memorial Garden at the National Arboretum at Alrewas, Staffordshire. Muriel Hoole, who is a member of the committee, is a keen cross-stitcher.

Muriel had the idea of reproducing the baby sculpture, which is at the heart of the garden, as a cross-stitch design. This has now been specially commissioned as a kit by Hilary Brown at Crafts Unlimited, so that anyone can make their own needlework picture.

The kit includes clear instructions and all the materials you will need. The fabric in the kit is a delicate shade of green and the finished picture is 7.5" x 6" (19.1 x 15.2 cm).

The cost of the kit is £12.50. All the profit of £7.50 per kit will be donated to SANDS.
