Sands Group Constitution

Whilst Sands Groups run largely independently from head office and usually in a fairly informal way, it is vital that they are seen to be a part of the charity as a whole and operating within a given framework.

The introduction of the Sands Group Constitution in 2006 helps to achieve this. As a charity we have always had a Constitution for the organisation as a whole but this new document clearly states the aims and organisation of Sands and its relationship with its Groups in modern day language and follows the models of best practice set by the Charity Law Association and Charity Commission.

Procedure to adopt the Group Constitution
