Rebecca Fitzgerald ran in memory of her nephew Toby

 I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 hours 57 minutes of hot sweaty miles alongside the likes of Scooby doo and the Wombles, a 10 ft high nurse, 17 chained up convicts and a giant cherry bakewell tart, which I did beat to the finish line!
It was an incredible experience despite the heat, and like nothing I have ever done before.  The cheers from the crowds shouting out my name and handing out jelly babies on the side lines, the camaraderie between runners, the emotion behind peoples reason for running and then of course the pain!!!  I have never dug so deep before to keep going and that last mile felt like a hundred!  I read somewhere that you don’t so much hit 'the wall' more like someone hands you a refrigerator to carry to the finish.  But turning that final corner and sprinting to the finish line made it all worth it!
