We have set up a group called Sands Parliamentarians, which is made up of MPs, MSPs and Assembly Members (from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland), who are supportive of our cause and who are helping us to raise our issues at the highest levels. Sands Parliamentarians assist in a range of ways – from raising questions in parliament, to visiting local maternity units to understand issues at grassroot level. 

We communicate and meet with our Sands Parliamentarians on a regular basis to keep them updated on developments at the charity and the wider field of maternity services. Our Spotlight on Sands parliamentary bulletin is primarily designed to keep Sands Parliamentarians abreast of all the latest new from the charity.
